Raincatcher has been changing lives in rural Tanzania since the turn of the century.

Latrines

Raincatcher funded the construction of 10 latrines in Zeze primary school.

A Raincatcher side programme focused on education, included the distribution of Raspberry Pi's and a local electricity project

The Zeze team researched water access needs of nearby villages to consider future projects.

Water Tank

The Raincatcher team delivered a 250,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System in Tabora.

Water Tank

The team delivered a 55,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System in the village of Choma Chankola.

Water Tank

Our very first project was a 50,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System in Kagongwa village.

Water Tank

Raincatcher funded a 200,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System in Tabora.

Training of Trainers (TOT)

The programme enables villagers to create water jars for their own homes.

The Raincatcher Song

The Raincatcher Song was written by villagers as part of our WASH training programme.

Rainwater Jars

The team delivered a training programme for constructing small scale rainwater jars.

Water Tank

Raincatcher funded a hand dug underground water tank in the village of Kipalapala, Tabora.

Water Tank

The team oversaw construction of a 250,000 litre water tank at Mihayo Primary School.

2005

Water Tank

Raincatcher funded a 75,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System in Sikonge.

2013

WASH Training

Raincatcher delivered a comprehensive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme in Igoko.

2009

Water Tank

The team oversaw construction of underground water tanks Kahama, Nzega and Igunga.

2015

Water Tank

Raincatcher oversaw the construction of 50,000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System.

2016

Micro-Finance

Raincatcher delivered a micro-financing programme, enabling local people to save, borrow and invest.

2008

Water Tank

Raincatcher funded a large hand dug underground water tank in the village of Cheyo.

2007

Malaria Prevention

A side project funding the provision of malaria preventing mosquito nets.

WASH Training

Raincatcher delivered a comprehensive WASH (water,  sanitation and hygiene) programme.

Latrines

The first Raincatcher team to visit Tanzania oversaw the construction of latrines.

Jar Construction

Raincatcher provides training for villagers to build and maintain small scale water jars.

The team oversaw the construction of a large Rainwater Harvesting System in Mihayo.
